Credit Cards Now Accepted in DPW
DPW now has the capability of processing credit cards for permit payments in the Highway, Sewer and Building Inspection Divisions. Effective immediately we will now accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover;  we hope this will be a more convenient, efficient process for those obtaining a permit in these divisions.

Topographic Survey of Greenwich Avenue Area Begins August 26
The DPW Engineering Division will be overseeing the topographic surveying of Greenwich Avenue and portions of surrounding streets. Read more.
Emergency Replacement of Old Mill Road Culvert
Construction will begin on July 18, 2016 to replace the culvert on Old Mill Road. The Engineering Division of DPW expects that a portion of the road will be closed for approximately 4 weeks. Click here for the news release with further information.

Brookridge Drive Bridge Superstructure Replacement to Begin
The Engineering Division of Public Works will be overseeing the Brookridge Drive Bridge Superstructure Replacement. Construction is scheduled to begin July 11, 2016; click here for more information on the project including the proposed detour.
Old Greenwich Railroad Project Update
The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation has been working on the rehabilitation of Metro-North Railroad bridges over Sound Beach Avenue and Tomac Avenue. Click here for more information and a link to the DOT website which is updated weekly.
Partial Closure of William Street Field
Please be advised that in conjunction with the Mason/Church Street drainage project, the Department of Public Works, Engineering Division has announced that half of the William Street Field will be closing. Click here for the Public Notice with more information.

Mason and Church Street Drainage Improvements
The Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works will be managing construction for the improvement of the drainage system on and near Mason Street and Church Street.
