Request for Qualifications for Greenwich Ave and Central Downtown Greenwich Improvements
The Town is seeking a qualified team of firms with significant experience in master planning, municipal infrastructure engineering, public utilities, roadway/pedestrian improvements, streetscape and landscaping design to provide services for proposed improvements. Binney Park Pond Maintenance Dredging and Bank Restoration Project
The Department of Public Works, Engineering Division, has announced that the Binney Park Pond Maintenance Dredging and Bank Restoration project  is expected to begin on Wednesday July 5, 2017; it is estimated to last approximately six months. New Application Form for Highway Permits
The Highway Division of Public Works has updated the Highway Permit Application. Please review the new application in its entirety to familiarize yourself with the new requirements for submissions for all New Construction, Driveway and Drainage applications. Holly Hill Dump Stickers
The Department of Parks and Recreation has discontinued the Park Pass decals for vehicle windshields. Many residents used those stickers for entry into the Waste Disposal Transfer Station. The 2016  sticker WILL be accepted at Holly Hill (the Transfer Station) to gain entry. If you do not have a  Parks and Recreation 2016 decal on your vehicle you may obtain...

Credit Cards Now Accepted in DPW
DPW now has the capability of processing credit cards for permit payments in the Highway, Sewer and Building Inspection Divisions. Effective immediately we will now accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover;  we hope this will be a more convenient, efficient process for those obtaining a permit in these divisions.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Department of Public Works (DPW) reports to the First Selectman. It is headed by the Commissioner of Public Works, who is responsible for all matters involved in the construction, development and maintenance of the physical properties of the town, except for the design and maintenance of school property. The department also provides technical and engineering services to other town departments and agencies.
