Binney Park Pond Maintenance Dredging and Bank Restoration Project
The Department of Public Works, Engineering Division, has announced that the Binney Park Pond Maintenance Dredging and Bank Restoration project  is expected to begin on Wednesday July 5, 2017; it is estimated to last approximately six months. Rehabilitation of Dingletown Road Bridge to Begin in June of 2017

East Putnam Avenue Phase II Drainage Improvements
The Engineering Division of DPW will be managing construction to improve the drainage system down the center of  East Putnam Avenue between Church Street and Sherwood Place. Construction is expected to begin Monday, May 22 and should last approximately 3 months. Read the Public Notice for more information.

Pool and Spa Workshop
The Division of Building Inspection, DPW, will present a workshop on pool and spa code requirements based on the current CT State Building Code and related standards.  The workshop is open to the general public and will be presented from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on Tuesday May 23, 2017 in the Town Hall Meeting Room.  Click here for more information.

Holly Hill Dump Stickers
The Department of Parks and Recreation has discontinued the Park Pass decals for vehicle windshields. Many residents used those stickers for entry into the Waste Disposal Transfer Station. The 2016  sticker WILL be accepted at Holly Hill (the Transfer Station) to gain entry. If you do not have a  Parks and Recreation 2016 decal on your vehicle you may obtain...

Credit Cards Now Accepted in DPW
DPW now has the capability of processing credit cards for permit payments in the Highway, Sewer and Building Inspection Divisions. Effective immediately we will now accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover;  we hope this will be a more convenient, efficient process for those obtaining a permit in these divisions.

Old Greenwich Railroad Project Update

It is headed by the Commissioner of Public Works, who is responsible for all matters involved in the construction, development and maintenance of the physical properties of the town, except for the design and maintenance of school property.
