BYRAM POOL CLOSED FOR 2015 SEASON
As a result of the soil remediation project, the Byram pool will be closed for the 2015 beach season.    The funding for the soil remediation will be appropriated on July 1, 2015.  The remediation project will take place during the summer months.

POTABLE WATER ON GREAT CAPTAIN ISLAND TAINTED WITH SALT WATER
As a result of Super Storm Sandy, the  potable water on Great Captain Island has been tainted with salt water.  This issue will stabilize over time and the water will improve.  Until such time, it is recommended that visitors bring bottled drinking water with them when they visit the island.

Anti-discrimination Policy

The Town's park facilities, beaches and recreation areas are open to all Town residents and other members of the general public admitted thereto in accordance with, and subject to, applicable state and federal laws, and ordinances, and regulations promulgated by the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Selectmen.
