Entry into Holly Hill Resource Recovery Facility

As stated in prior communications included in the Beach/Park Pass renewal material as well as the Parks and Recreation website, new 2017 Resident Vehicle Parking Stickers will not be issued.

We have been informed by the Department of Public Works, that the Holly Hill Resource Recovery Facility will accept last year's sticker affixed to the windshield of the vehicle.

Should your vehicle be missing a 2016 Resident Vehicle Parking Sticker, visit the Town website at www.greenwichct.org and go to the Waste Disposal link of the DPW section, and click on Vehicle Dumping Permit Decal.   Applications are processed at the Holly Hill Facility only.

POTABLE WATER ON GREAT CAPTAIN ISLAND TAINTED WITH SALT WATER
As a result of Super Storm Sandy, the  potable water on Great Captain Island has been tainted with salt water.  This issue will stabilize over time and the water will improve.  Until such time, it is recommended that visitors bring bottled drinking water with them when they visit the island.

Important Notice from the Town Of Greenwich
Water Faucet
The Town of Greenwich Board of Selectmen adopted new water restrictions that focus on restricting water use for outdoor irrigation and are in keeping with the Emergency Water Supply Order recently issued by the CT Department of Public Health. The new restrictions recognize that reservoir levels are improving but are still below average.
