We recognize that a number of Greenwich residents and their families struggle with issues related to severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse or addiction. People often feel isolated, lose hope and are not sure where to turn for assistance when experiencing a broad range of painful experiences, such as:
Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Suicidal Thoughts; Anxiety, Panic; Stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; Alcohol Abuse and Addiction; and Schizophrenia.
Enriching lives through partnerships designed to strengthen the community’s capacity to support recovery and resiliency is the goal of our mental health services. We work with our community partners to provide clinically competent mental health services to support individuals and families in achieving their personal goals, increase their ability to achieve independence and develop skills that lead to a positive outcome.
We have spearheaded the effort to form a Mental Health Provider Group that promotes collaboration and engages community agencies in the greater Greenwich area to strengthen overall mental health support services.
We provide an additional focus on consulting and providing mental health supports for those individuals and families in need of assistance with behavioral health issues.
Our services include:
- Information and referral;
- Advocacy and support in engaging mental health treatment;
- Crisis management; and
- Individual and family consultation
