On a beautiful August day, the parishioners of St. Roch’s Church held their annual religious procession dedicated to their patron saint.This event is a reminder of similar processions in rural Italy which have continued for hundreds of years.

On the right is Salvatore Di Pietro, President of the Societa San Rocco di Morra de Santis, who organized the event.
At the end of the procession, Pastor Rev. Arthur Mollenhauer, Societa members, St. Roch’s parishioners, First Selectman Peter Tesei, and the Grand Marshal returned to the church for the Italian mass.
