Cos Cob Park provided the perfect venue for another day of sincere and tearful remembrance of the tragedy of September 11.
Numerous family members of those who lost their lives on that fateful day had a private tribute at the crest of the hill by the stunning glass monument representing the twin towers. They were later joined by the many Greenwich residents who were mourning as they remembered the pain and fear of that day.
The remembrance was fitting — and the sadness was real.
Flowers were left by many as a personal memorial.
