An armed salute opened the Memorial Day Ceremony at Indian Harbor Yacht Club.
On a rainy Memorial Day, Indian Harbor Yacht Club was filled with Greenwich patriots saluting the military service of Connecticut soldiers, past and present. American Legion Post #29, Commander Christopher Hughes led the recognition ceremony. Sen. Richard Blumenthal’s words were inspiring, as were those of the speaker: Rear Admiral John Weigold IV, Reserve Deputy Commander, U. S. Pacific Fleet
