A ceremony took place at the Italian Center in Stamford to celebrate 6 Gold Award recipients who have achieved the highest award a girl can earn in Girl Scouting. This remarkable achievement involved at least 80 hours of researching issues and assessing community needs and resources. Each individual girl then built a team and completed her project. The Gold Awards were presented to: Rose Kristen Arezzini, Eliana Betzios, Elizabeth Budinoff, Lesley Nolan, Erin White and Madeleine Wolf.
