Girl Scout Recognition Dinner: May 29

A ceremony took place at the Italian Center in Stamford to celebrate 6 Gold Award recipients who have achieved the highest award a girl can earn in Girl Scouting.  This remarkable achievement involved at least 80 hours of researching issues and assessing community needs and resources. Each individual girl then built a team and completed her project.  The Gold Awards were presented to: Rose Kristen Arezzini, Eliana Betzios, Elizabeth Budinoff, Lesley Nolan, Erin White and Madeleine Wolf.  Also pictured are: Cindy Bigelow, President & CEO of Bigelow Tea;  Mary Barneby, CEO of Girl Scouts of Connecticut;  Sarah Goldin, Ph.D., science teacher at Greenwich High School; Samantha Salkin; Marisa Goff; Cara English; Juliana Edelston; Sabrina Manero; Gabrielle Liflander; Ahana Shanbhogue; Rachel Winpisinger; and Jennifer Grieco.
