Greenwich Council of the Boy Scouts of America celebrated an important milestone as 23 young men were named Eagle Scouts in a ceremony on June 10, 2013 at the Hyatt. The honoree of the evening and World War II veteran, Cmdr. Charles Standard, is shown receiving an award from Malcolm Pray, founder of "Friends of Eagle.
The 23 new Eagle Scouts are: Dominick Borrico, Alexander Buck, Forest Crossman, Sean Dillon, Joseph DiMatteo, Jack Freiheit, Trevor Frey, Matthew Hall, James Harnett, Robert James III, David Keller, Maxwell Kim, Eric Knorr, Stephen Le Breton, Ryan Olesen, John Oswald, James Plewniak, David Roberts, Jacob Russell, Anthony Shaw, Henry Stone, Kohtaro Tanaka and Matthew van Rhyn
