Drew has served as Selectman since 2009 and is proud to have been part of many town achievements. He has used his voice and platform to ensure funding and progress on many important capital projects, including: MISA; The Nathaniel Witherell rehabilitation, a state-of-the-art educational facility for the New Lebanon School, and the procurement of federal funds to help prevent flooding in Byram.
A trained Paramedic with GEMS for over two decades, Drew cares deeply about the health and safety of Greenwich residents. He is working hard with the First Selectman in support of a back-country fire station and has been and will continue to be a strong advocate for Senior Tax Relief. Drew has been outspoken on bullying, LGBT Rights, and Connecticut's Foster Care and Adoption Agencies. He is committed to working with all Greenwich residents, businesses, and employees to ensure a Greenwich quality-of-life.
Drew believes the mill rate does not need to increase if the Town adopts a new finance model supported by both Democrats and Republicans and will collaborate with members of our finance board to achieve just that.
Prior to serving as Selectman, Drew served two terms on the RTM. After graduating from Greenwich High School in 1989, Drew went on to receive his State of Connecticut Paramedic license. Drew has been appointed by Governor Malloy as a member of the Emergency Medical Service Advisory Board and serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Red Ribbon Foundation, a Greenwich based foundation committed to promoting HIV and AIDS awareness. Drew also serves as a member of the New Lebanon School Building Committee and is an active fundraiser for many worthy organizations.
Drew is a third generation Greenwich resident who currently resides in Cos Cob with husband Reynold and beautiful son Richard.
