Go Greener Greenwich
Mission Statement
Go Greener Greenwich was established to increase Greenwich community participation in green living practices in order to protect human health, environmental health, and fiscal health.
- Established in January, 2009, as a follow-up to the Environmental Action Task Force, with a core group of sixteen people.
- We have chosen six topics for 2009 on which to build communications campaigns aimed at the community:
- Recycling (Apr)
- Chemicals (May)
- Water (June/July)
- Transportation (August/September)
- Energy Efficiency (October/November)
- Green Holidays (December)
- We will use a number of channels, including the media, schools, lectures, events, a website, and a Green Expo to reach the community
