New Building Permit Application Process
Effective April 25, 2005 the Division of Building Inspection will begin accepting building permit applications without the previously required sewer permit. Instead the permit applicant will be required to submit verification that they have filed an application for the sewer permit.
The Division of Building Inspection will review the application for zoning and building code compliance but will not issue the building permit until the applicant has received the actual sewer permit and has submitted a copy to the Division. This policy change will remain in effect only until the backlog of sewer inspections have been completed. For more permit information, please click here.
