New 2009 Summer Parking for Island Beach Ferry
Parking procedures have changed for the summer when parking at the Island Beach and Horseneck parking lots and the Steamboat Road parking meters. During the summer months, beginning June 13, 2009 when the Ferry to Island Beach and Captain Island is in operation, parking fees will be charged to Non-Beach Pass or Non-Parking Permit Holders 7 days a week Monday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Island Beach Parking Lot. If you have a current Beach Pass Parking Sticker or "G" Parking Permit Hangtag, there will not be a fee.
