3/18: Coastal Resources Advisory Committee Meeting
First Selectman Peter J. Tesei has announced there will be a meeting of the First Selectman's Coastal Resources Advisory Committee for the purpose of soliciting public comment regarding the proposed Draft Rules and Procedures for Mooring and Anchoring Vessels in the Greenwich Harbor Area, This meeting will be held Wednesday, March 18, 5:00 PM, in the Town Hall Meeting Room, 1st Floor.
Boaters and other interested parties may ask questions and submit written and verbal comments. You may view the Draft Rules and Procedures by selecting this link to view the twelve page document. Hard copies are also available at the Selectmen's office on the First Floor, Town Hall, 101 Field Point Road, Greenwich, CT, 06830.
Boaters wishing to submit the enclosed application for a individual, non-commercial mooring permit form, are exempt from the "clearly visible horizontal blue band and name of vessel" provisions contained in the "Note" section of the form. These provisions, originally developed for the State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation version of the form are optional for Town of Greenwich boaters.
