Conservation Easement Tax Benefit to Expire!
The Conservation Commission and the Greenwich Land Trust want to remind land owners of a tax incentive program scheduled to expire by the end of 2007. The Pension Protection Act of 2006 increased incentives for conservation easements for donations made by the end of 2007. Although Congress could extend the incentive program, presently the expiration date stands.
