March 11&25: Historical Flood Data Gathering
As part of ongoing information gathering project by the Byram River Workgroup looking at flooding on the Byram River, Town Conservation Director Denise Savageau will hold two drop-in sessions for residents. Residents with historical knowledge of flooding in their neighborhood are invited to drop in and relate the info to Ms. Savageau in this informal setting. Maps will be available to review and for residents to identify areas of concern. Gathering information on dates, locations, and extent of overland flooding, basement flooding, street flooding etc is all important to reviewing existing flood reports and updating a plan for the Byram River.
