New Traffic Violation Fines in CT
Legislation affecting Infractions and Violations, enacted by the General Assembly became effective upon passage in April 14th, 2010.
Among other changes, the legislation increased the fines for numerous Motor Vehicle violations including, but not limited to "Failure to Wear a Seat Belt" while operating on a Public Highway, 14-100a(c)(1).
The fine increased from $37.00 to $92.00 Also the Minimum fine for "Traveling Too Fast" went up from $103.00 to $127.00.
This is a reminder to "Buckle Up" and "Slow Down"; please drive safe.
