Citizens' Police Academy Spring 2009
The Greenwich Police Department is accepting applications for the Spring 2009 Citizen's Police Academy Class. The 11-week session will commence on March 26th, 2009 and meet each Thursday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Graduation will be held on June 11, 2009. Application deadline is March 16.

The Citizen's Police Academy is a program that provides Greenwich
residents with a first hand overview of the law enforcement and community related functions of the Greenwich Police Department.
Instructors for the program will be highly trained and experienced Greenwich Police Officers. There is no fee for the eleven week program. Any Greenwich resident 21 years of age or older may apply. Seating will be limited to 35 persons.
Due to the high demand of this class, qualified applicants will be subject to a lottery drawing to determine the final class roster.
*Applicants must be Greenwich residents and should confirm that they will be available for each class of instruction.
