CAMPING AND PICNIC AREA RESERVATION 2011 SEASON
The Department of Parks and Recreation will be accepting Reservions of Overnight Camping Permits and Town Picnic Areas for the 2011 season.
Reservations will be taken on a first come,first serve basis for Greenwich Residents beginning at 8:00am Tuesday, January 18, 2011 on the 2nd floor at Town Hall in the Cone Conference Room.
Reservations for Overnight camping at Island Beach and Great Captain's Island is limited to one night per island,per family.
Reservations for Town picnic areas include Greenwich Point(both Clambake area and the Cowbarn area),Byram Park(Clambake Area),Bruce Park(Woods Road Picnic Area) and the Pinetum Picnic Area and are also limited to one reservation per Picnic Area per family.
Reservation Fees are as follows:
Island Campout $30. reservation fee, plus $15. per person Camping fee.
Picnics/Clambakes $125.
All fees must be paid in full at the time of Reservation. Checks should be made payable to "Town of Greenwich" (We accept Cash or Check only exact change would be greatly appreciated) Proof of residency is required when reserving areas. Must be 21 years or older to make a Reservation.
