If Your Car Is Registered Within Connecticut But Not At The Permit Address
Apply for a Residential Parking Permit
For cars registered within Connecticut but not at the permit address, the following must be completed:
- Complete the application (can be obtain at the Dept. of Parking Services)
- Attach a photocopy of the vehicle registration.
- Attach proof of current address (utility bill or lease).
- Enclose $10.00 non- refundable fee.
- Enclose a #10 business size (4 1/8 X 9 ½), self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Each household is allowed up to 2 visitor permits.
If Your Car Is Registered Outside Of Connecticut
Apply for a Residential Parking Permit
For cars registered outside of Connecticut, the following must be completed:
- Bring vehicle registration to the Assessor’s Office, Town Hall, 101 Field Point Rd (1st Flr) and then pay property tax at the Tax Collector’s Office (same address).
- Complete the application.
- Attach a photocopy of the vehicle registration.
- Attach proof of Greenwich residence (utility bill or lease).
- Attach slip from Tax Collector’s Office.
- Enclose $10.00 non-refundable fee.
- Enclose a #10 business size (4 1/8 X 9 ½), self-addressed, stamped envelope.
