Holly Hill Dump Stickers
The Department of Parks and Recreation has discontinued the Park Pass decals for vehicle windshields. Many residents used those stickers for entry into the Waste Disposal Transfer Station. The 2016  sticker WILL be accepted at Holly Hill (the Transfer Station) to gain entry. If you do not have a  Parks and Recreation 2016 decal on your vehicle you may obtain a vehicle decal at Holly Hill for dumping; click here for more information.

Paper Shredding Day--Organized by Grab and Greenwich Green and Clean
The Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board and Greenwich Green and Clean will once again be holding a "Paper Shredding Day" for your sensitive documents. The event will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Click here for the flyer with more information.

Credit Cards Now Accepted in DPW
DPW now has the capability of processing credit cards for permit payments in the Highway, Sewer and Building Inspection Divisions. Effective immediately we will now accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover;  we hope this will be a more convenient, efficient process for those obtaining a permit in these divisions.

Notice of Road Closure-Shore Road Bridge Over Horseneck Brook
The Engineering Division of Public Works has announced that Shore Road in Greenwich will be closed beginning September 8, 2015 to complete the Shore Road Bridge Rehabilitation. Click here for the news release.

Department of Public Works' Sewer Division Request for Bid
The RFB is for Final Clarifier Modifications, Administration Building Generator Louver Modifications, Headworks Generator Louver Modifications, and Miscellaneous work at the Grass Island Waste Water Treatment Plant, Shore Road, Greenwich, CT. On July 8 at 9:00 a.m. there will be a Prebid Conference held at the Administration Building of the Town of Greenwich Grass Island Water Pollution Control Plant located on Grass Island Road in Greenwich, Connecticut. This Prebid Conference will be followed a project site walk of the plant grounds. It is highly recommended to attend this conference before bidding on this project. Download RFB

CT Department of Transportation Announces the Start of the Old Greenwich Railroad Project
The Connecticut DOT will begin the Old Greenwich Railroad Project on Monday, May 4, 2015. The first stage of the project will involve construction in the south parking lot which will affect the number of parking spaces until the work is complete. Click here for the DOT press release.
