Public Notice: 2017 NAA Program Application/Proposal
The Town of Greenwich is currently accepting proposals from interested agencies or organizations for the State of Connecticut 2017 Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Program. The NAA Program allows for a tax credit to be earned by business firms that make cash investments of at least $250 to certain community programs. The cash investments must be made in a community program that is proposed and conducted by a tax exempt or municipal agency and must be approved both by the municipality in which the program is conducted and the Department of Revenue Services (DRS). 

Interested tax-exempt entities must complete Form NAA-01, 2017 Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Program Proposal, Parts I, II and III and submit the completed form to the Town of Greenwich. The Town must hold a public hearing on all program applications. The governing body (RTM) must vote to approve the programs. Documentation of all notices and meeting minutes will be submitted to the DRS. ... Read more

In accordance with HUD regulations at 24 CFR 91.520, the Greenwich Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program must submit its performance report to HUD.  Thus, the CDBG program has prepared the 2016 CAPER (Draft), which will be submitted to the HUD Hartford Office (20 Church Street, 10th Floor, Hartford, CT) on or about April 10, 2017.  The 2016 CAPER (Draft) covers the period from January 1 to December 31, 2016 and contains reporting information on community development activities pursuant to the requirements of 24 CFR Part 91, including but not limited to a description of the progress the Town of Greenwich has made in carrying out its Strategic Five Year Plan, Annual Action Plan, Actions to Further Fair Housing, and status of funds. ... Holly Hill Dump Stickers
The Department of Parks and Recreation has discontinued the Park Pass decals for vehicle windshields. Many residents used those stickers for entry into the Waste Disposal Transfer Station. The 2016  sticker WILL be accepted at Holly Hill (the Transfer Station) to gain entry. If you do not have a  Parks and Recreation 2016 decal on your vehicle you may obtain a vehicle decal at Holly Hill for dumping; click here for more information.

Credit Cards Now Accepted in DPW
DPW now has the capability of processing credit cards for permit payments in the Highway, Sewer and Building Inspection Divisions. Effective immediately we will now accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover;  we hope this will be a more convenient, efficient process for those obtaining a permit in these divisions.

After a decade using Lotus Notes as its email service, the Town government will begin moving to Microsoft Office 365 toward the end of 2015.  Office 365 is a suite of online services that includes industry-standard email, as well as the most current versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Each user will have increased message storage capacity, and will have more functionality to help manage email, coordinate meetings, and book conference rooms.  These services will be hosted at Microsoft's dedicated government cloud facilities located within the U.S. and managed by U.S. citizens.
