Greenwich Point BioBlitz a huge success!

The Greenwich Conservation Commission and Greenwich Shellfish Commission, in conjunction with the University of Connecticut and others, came together to catalog life during a 24 hour period called the "BioBlitz" at Greenwich Point, Conn., Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017. Scientists, students, and volunteers counted a total of 1,247 different species at Greenwich Point. Thank you to everyone who was involved. This was a huge success and a great opportunity to celebrate biodiversity in Greenwich.
