Friends of Nathaniel Witherell was started in December 2006 to conduct a full array of fundraising activities to support The Nathaniel Witherell. Through private donations the Friends seeks to enhance the lives of residents at Witherell by funding programs and capital improvements.

This year the Friends will be launching its inaugural Annual Appeal as well as Special Events. Some of the exciting events we have lined up include an Aboriginal Art Show and Sale at The Nathaniel Witherell in November, a Golf Tournament on May 12, 2008, and a Celebrity Birdhouse Gala and Auction in fall 2008. Over the next few years you will hear more about The Nathaniel Witherell embarking on its exciting journey of renovation and expansion, Project Renew. The Friends of Nathaniel Witherell will support Witherell's endeavor by launching a Capital Campaign. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for residents of Greenwich to create a state-of-the-art nursing home and rehabilitation center that will deliver top-quality healthcare in an environment as cozy and inviting as one's home.
