The Nathaniel Witherell is a Short-term Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center located on 24 rolling acres just 2 miles from downtown Greenwich. Witherell maintains separate and distinct neighborhoods for short-term rehab, long-term care and specialized dementia care. Witherell has been owned and operated on a not-for-profit basis by the Town of Greenwich for over 100 years and holds a 5 star Medicare rating.

Witherell promotes "Person Centered Care" which means respecting residents' desires to determine their daily routine including timing of services, menu choices and dining times. Our highly trained nurses and assistants are given consistent assignments for quality outcomes and to foster relationships. Witherell also has a remarkably low turnover rate.

Witherell provides rehabilitation therapies including physical, occupational and speech. Short-term rehab services are available twice a day, 7 days a week and include orthopedic, cardiac and medical.
