Employee Assistance The Town of Greenwich is committed to preserving the well being of our human resources. The town recognizes that a wide range of issues not always directly associated with one's job function can affect an employees' job performance. Through early intervention many such issues can be resolved and the impact on job performance and general health minimized. To that end he Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has been established to provide professional expertise to employees and their family members when dealing with problems of a personal nature. It is available to all municipal employees (Town and Board of Education) and their families. The program provides confidential and professional consultation for a wide range of personal problems including, but not limited to stress, marital issues, family problems, alcohol and/or drug abuse, grief counseling, financial and legal issues. The program is free of charge and offers assessment, short-term counseling, and referral and treatment coordination. An employee or family member may contact Eva Nolfors, EAP Counselor and Coordinator of the program by calling (203) 661-3557. Employee Assistance Flyer (122kb pdf) |
