Friday, March 27 : Managing in An Adverse Economy The Greenwich Department of Social Services will host its first information sharing event titled: "Managing in an Adverse Economy: Information and Resource Sharing"
This multi-agency collaborative event represents an array of services available to Greenwich residents. It is targeted to individuals and families who are experiencing difficulties making ends meet, loss of employment, lack of health insurance, and other stressors associated with the economic downturn.
Some of the agencies participating are: Family Centers, Commission on Aging, Greenwich Hospital Out/Pt. Clinic, Kids in Crisis, Housing Authority, Liberation Programs, Greenwich Department of Health, Legal Services, and CT Department of Social Services. There will also be brief presentations on related issues throughout the event.
The event will take place on Friday, March 27, 2009, from 10AM -1PM, in the Greenwich Town Hall Meeting Room located on the first floor.
The event is open to all Greenwich residents. It is free and no prior registration is required.
