2008 Mianus River Pond Fishway Open House
As part of its ongoing education and outreach program, the Conservation Commission will hold two additional open house sessions at the Mianus River Pond Fishway. One on Saturday April 26 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and another on Saturday, May 17 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the fishway and the fish that use it. The public is invited to drop in at 125 River Road Extension anytime during the hours posted to view one of the truly amazing natural resource wonders in Greenwich - the annual river herring migration.
