The Office of Special Clinical Services provides prevention efforts
by offering educational programs, risk assessments, screenings, examinations
and behavior modification techniques. These services are conducted for students
in public and private schools, social service organizations, municipal employees,
church groups, hospital guests and community programs, such as Kids in Crisis. In
collaboration with the AIDS Alliance of Greenwich and the Fairfield County AIDS Walk,
funds for programs were raised and distributed to client support services.
HIV/STD Information and Services (Venus Clinic)
HIV Services: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Venus Clinic: Tuesday and Thursday: 2:00-5:00 p.m. - No appointment necessary
- Free and confidential testing for Pregnancy and Sexually Transmitted Diseases
- Referral assistance for persons with HIV infection
- Buddy Program
- Support Groups
- Speakers and educational programs
- Consultation services to professionals, corporations, school officials, etc.
- Training programs in support of volunteer AIDS educators
- Emergency funds
