April 2004: National Public Health Week Each year the National Public Health Association identifies a week to celebrate the many faces of public health. As a nation we continue to have health care, health literacy and health care access disparities between our races, cultures and socioeconomic groups, despite work being done to eliminate this. This impacts longevity, morbidity and quality of life in towns across the country.
This year's National Public Health theme is "Moving From Statistics to Solution". Greenwich is right in the fore on this topic as we have so many organizations, coalitions and agencies working on exactly this issue. Here are but a few of our broadly collaborative efforts. Click here for more info.
