Winter 2003: West Nile Virus
With the large amount of rainfall we have had so far this year experts are predicting larger mosquito populations. The Department urges homeowners to periodically check their properties for standing water and remove these potential habitats for mosquitoes or treat them with a larvicide.

The Town is continuing its larvicide program by addressing standing water in catch basins regularly. The Health Department is also recording dead bird locations - please call 622-7838 to report a dead bird. Click here to learn more about West Nile Virus.
