Open discussion on Alzheimer's set for Jan. 23 "Successful Aging in the 21st Century: Revisiting Patient-Centered Healthcare is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. at the Stamford Hospital, Conference Room 1, Shelburne Road at West Broad Street. The speaker is Daniel E. Wollman, MD, PhD, from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Department of Geriatrics, The Southern New England Memory Disorders Center.
The program, which is free and open to the public, will focus on memory difficulties or Alzheimer's disease and how they can affect people who have the disease or who care for people with the disease.
The discussion will include the difficulties of growing older and how together people can shape an integrated healthcare system to make the process healthier, enjoyable and fulfilling.
