E. coli Federal Investigation Update
The Greenwich Health Department would like Greenwich residents to be aware of an alert from the Federal and State government regarding the investigation of an E. coli outbreak in several states. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are continuing to investigate a multi-state outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections. So far, 114 cases have been reported from twenty-one states, including Connecticut.
