REGULAR HOURS & HOLIDAY SCHEDULES
Regular Transfer Station Hours: Mon.-Fri. 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Sat. 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Closed: Independence Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving Day, New Years Day. Open on Saturdays of Holiday Weekends unless the above holiday falls on a Saturday. Unless specifically listed as being closed or a rare catastrophic weather event (e.g. Hurricane Sandy) forces closure for safety reasons, the Holly Hill Facility is open for regular hours.
Open: Columbus Day, Good Friday, Veteran's Day, President's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Fri. & Sat. after Thanksgiving.
What are the permit requirements for RESIDENTS and BUSINESSES dumping at the Holly Hill Facility?

COMMERCIAL vehicles entering the Holly Hill Facility MUST have and properly display either a Resident Dumping Permit or a Non-Resident Dumping Permit.  Residents can bring their trash, garbage, refuse, yard debris and recyclables to Holly Hill, or hire a private collector to pick up the trash at home. To find the name of a licensed collector in your area, use this list of licensed collectors.
Licensed collectors are allowed to remove trash and discarded materials (including recyclables) in the Town of Greenwich between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and bring them to Holly Hill.
