Great Captain Island
Capacity: Maximum of 25 people per night (up to three separate groups).
Fees: $35.00 Reservation and $15.00 per person.
Non-Refundable $35.00 Permit Fee required to secure date and location. Proof of residency required before permit will be issued. Current Park Pass, Marina Facility Use Permit, ID Card, or Drivers License in conjunction with current phone or electric bill will be accepted as proof. Must be a resident of Greenwich and 21 years or older to make a Reservation and be present for duration of event.
· Cost: $15.00 per person Camping Fee: includes island camping, parking and ferry ticket. (Payable at time of reservation).
· Camping Tickets are ONLY available at Town Hall Mon. - Fri. 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
· Only one night per family per season. Permits are non-transferable.
· Area available for overnight camping: June 9 – Sept. 8, 2012.
No camping on MONDAY nights.
· No wedding ceremonies, receptions or photography permitted. (Greenwich Municipal Code 6.93).
· No amplified music permitted. (Code of Greenwich 7.28(16)).
· No Campfires or Fireworks.
· Grills, picnic tables, bathrooms and showers available.
· No Pets allowed.
NOTE: ***GCI Ferry runs with Tide. (Please see Ferry Schedule).
Use of personal boat is permitted to islands. Camping fees still apply.
Changing # of Participants:
· To increase the # of participantsyou may purchase additional tickets, space permitting.
· To Decrease the # of participants, you must request in writing and do so NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR to the overnight in order to be refunded. **Refund will ONLY be issued upon return of tickets and by written request. Send written request to the Attention of the Parks and Trees Division.
