The Town of Greenwich offers several retirement plans to its employees: a Defined Benefit Pension plan, a 401(k) Savings plan and a 457(b) Deferred Compensation plan.
Defined Benefit Pension Plan
The Defined Benefit Pension Plan is a trust fund established under Article 14 of the Town Charter to provide retirement allowances for employees of the Town. The Retirement Board serves as Trustee of the Town of Greenwich Retirement System. Please see the attached FAQs for more information on the Defined Benefit Pension Plan. Retirees may contact Wells Fargo at 877-877-1207 for changes to their pension payment information.
401(k) Savings Plan
The Savings Plan for Employees of the Town of Greenwich was established as a supplemental retirement savings program for employees of the Town of Greenwich who are participants in the Defined Benefit Pension Plan. Employees may log on to www.divinvest.com or call Diversified at 800-755-5801 to view their account balance. Please see the attached Summary Plan Description for further information on the plan.
