Meeting Information
The 2009 Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) was adopted at the June 8, 2009 RTM meeting. This is the Town's 10 Year Plan. As recommended in that plan, the Plan Implementation Committee (PIC) was formed.
The PIC is Chaired by the First Selectman and includes representatives from the Planning & Zoning Commission, Board of Estimate & Taxation, the RTM, Town Departments, boards and others deemed appropriate.
As noted in the Plan, the PIC prioritizes the action items in the POCD Implementation Action Plan and assigns the responsibilities to the appropriate agencies creating a timetable for completion. This committee is also involved in the development of priorities for projects to be considered for inclusion in the Town's 15 year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
There are 11 voting members of this Advisory Committee and 4 non-voting professional staff members.
