Board Meetings
Nine-member board. Members serve four-year terms commencing April 1st and are nominated by the Board of Selectmen and appointed by the Representative Town Meeting.
The Mission of the Greenwich Board of Parks and Recreation is to pursue and promote a standard of excellence in the development of comprehensive park systems and quality facilities which encourage diverse recreational opportunities and the preservation of natural resources.
To achieve our Mission:
We will foster communication between the department and the Board.
We will collaborate with interested parties in our community.
We will coordinate with other Boards, Commissions and Representative Town Meeting Committees.
