REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT/INPUT - PY2010 CAPER
COMMUNITY DEVELOMPENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM YEAR 2010 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER)
In accordance with HUD regulations at 24 CFR 91.520, the Greenwich CDBG Program must submit its performance report to HUD within 90 days after the close of the program year. Thus, the CDBG program has prepared the 2010 CAPER (draft), which will be submitted to the HUD Hartford Office (20 Church Street, 19th Floor, Hartford, CT) on or about March 31, 2011. The 2010 CAPER (draft) covers the period from January 1 to December 31 2010 and contains reporting information on community development activities pursuant to the requirements of 24 CFR Part 91, including but not limited to a description of the progress the Town of Greenwich has made in carrying out its Strategic Five Year Plan, Annual Action Plan, Actions to Further Fair Housing, and status of funds.
In addition, the regulations at 24 CFR 91.105 require a public comment period of not less than 15 days. Therefore, the citizens are given until March 31, 2011 to forward their views and comment on the 2010 CAPER (draft copy) to the CDBG office. A summary of citizen comments (if any) relating to activities reported in the 2010 CAPER will be included in the final document for its submission to HUD.
The 2010 CAPER (draft) is available for public review and comment at the Community Development Office at Greenwich Town Hall (101 Field Point Road, Greenwich, CT) and at all public library branches.
