Comments on the Draft CAPER 2008
CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) YEAR 2008
The Community Development Block Grant program is required to submit a Performance Report (CAPER) to HUD within 90 days after the close of a program year. The 2008 CAPER covers the period January 1st - December 31st 2008, and contains reporting information on community development activities pursuant to the requirements of 24 CFR Part 91, including but not limited to a description of the progress the Town of Greenwich has made in carrying out its Strategic Five Year Plan, Annual Action Plan, Actions to Further Fair Housing, and status of funds.
The regulations under 24 CFR 91.105 require a public comment period of not less than 15 days. Therefore, the citizens are given until March 30, 2009 to provide the CDBG Office with their views and comment on the CAPER (draft copy). Summaries of citizen comments (if any) relating to activities reported in the CAPER will be included in the final document for its submission to HUD.
The CAPER (draft copy) is available for public review and comment at the Community Development Office or Town Clerk's Office at Greenwich Town Hall (101 Field Point Road 1st floor, Greenwich, CT 06830) and all Greenwich Library branches.
