Field Point Rd./Brookside Dr. Construction Delays
Due to the current weather conditions, the scheduled work on Field Point Road at the intersection of Brookside Drive has been postponed 24-hours. Work will now commence on Wednesday, October 28th at 5:30 p.m.
Construction work will take place on the northbound side of Field Point Road at the intersection of Brookside Drive, as approved by the Board of Selectman at their meeting held on September 24, 2009. The start date/time is contingent upon good weather conditions.
Please expect traffic delays and avoid the area as much as possible by using Arch Street and West Putnam Avenue.
Work will continue around the clock to limit the inconvenience to commuters and residents of this area.
This project is being undertaken to make some necessary sewer repairs and repair to a storm drainage pipe.
